The Oxytouch Facial in Dubai is our oxygen facial — the gentlest treatment on our menu, and the one we most often recommend before an event or for skin that reacts badly to anything abrasive. A stream of pressurised oxygen delivers a hydrating serum across the skin surface, leaving it plumper, softer and visibly brighter straight away, with no peeling, no redness and nothing to recover from. Treatment takes around 45 to 60 minutes at our Mirdif clinic. To book, call 04 268 8226 or message us on WhatsApp at +971 56 598 6039.
What an Oxygen Facial Actually Does
We would rather be straight with you about this than repeat the usual marketing. A pressurised oxygen jet is used to push a fine mist of hydrating serum — typically hyaluronic acid, vitamins and antioxidants — onto and into the very top layers of the skin. The pressure helps the serum settle in more evenly than hands alone would, and the hydration is what produces the immediate result: skin that looks fuller, smoother and brighter, and makeup that sits better on it.
What it does not do is oxygenate your skin cells, detoxify anything, or rebuild collagen. Those claims circulate widely and are not well supported. The honest description is more modest and, in our experience, more useful: this is an excellent hydration and glow treatment, exceptionally comfortable, with results that are visible immediately and last several days. It is a maintenance and occasion treatment, not a corrective one.
Who the Oxytouch Facial Suits Best
- Anyone with an event coming up — a wedding, shoot, presentation or celebration where you want to look your best with zero risk of a reaction.
- Dehydrated skin — extremely common in Dubai, where long hours in air conditioning draw moisture from the skin even in oily skin types.
- Sensitive or reactive skin — there is no acid, no abrasion and no extraction, so it suits skin that flares with more active treatments.
- Skin that looks tired — dull, flat or lacklustre after travel, poor sleep or a demanding stretch at work.
- First-time facial patients — a gentle introduction with nothing to brace for.
- Between stronger treatments — a hydrating step that keeps skin comfortable during a course of peels or laser, once we confirm the timing is appropriate.
It is less suited to congested skin needing thorough extraction, or to concerns like pigmentation, acne scarring or textural change, which need active treatment rather than hydration. If that is your situation, our Dermabloom Signature Facial or a course of peels will do more for you, and we will say so rather than book you into the wrong treatment.
Oxytouch vs. the Signature Facial
| Oxytouch Facial | Signature Facial | |
|---|---|---|
| Main purpose | Hydration and immediate glow | Deep cleansing, exfoliation and clearing congestion |
| Exfoliation | Minimal to none | Yes, including a targeted peel step |
| Extraction | No | Yes, vacuum-assisted |
| Comfort | Very gentle throughout | Comfortable, with some tingling during the peel step |
| Best for | Events, sensitive skin, dehydration | Congestion, blackheads, dullness, uneven texture |
| Duration | 45–60 minutes | 60–75 minutes |
| Downtime | None | None |
Many patients alternate between the two — the Signature Facial to do the work, the Oxytouch to top up hydration and glow in between. We will suggest a sensible rhythm once we have seen your skin.
What Happens During the Treatment
- Skin assessment — your concerns, routine, medications and recent treatments reviewed, and the skin examined so the serum can be chosen for you.
- Cleanse — a thorough cleanse to remove makeup, sunscreen and surface build-up.
- Preparation — a gentle preparatory step where appropriate, kept light so the treatment stays suitable for sensitive skin.
- Oxygen serum infusion — the pressurised handpiece is passed across the face, neck and décolletage, delivering the serum evenly. Most patients describe it as a cool, pleasant breeze.
- Massage — a brief facial massage to aid comfort and circulation.
- Finish — moisturiser and broad-spectrum SPF, plus guidance on holding the result at home.
Results and Aftercare
The result is visible as soon as you sit up — skin looks hydrated, plump and brighter, and makeup applies more smoothly over it. Hydration typically holds for several days, and how long depends heavily on your home routine, water intake and how much time you spend in air conditioning. There is genuinely nothing to recover from: you can apply makeup immediately and go straight to an event.
To hold the result, keep up a hydrating routine at home, use sunscreen daily, and avoid harsh exfoliation for a day or two so the skin barrier stays comfortable. Because the effect is hydration-led rather than structural, regular sessions maintain it far better than occasional one-offs.
How Often, and When to Book Before an Event
Every three to four weeks suits most patients for ongoing maintenance. Before an event, this is one of the few facials that can safely be booked close to the day — one to three days beforehand works well, and because there is no exfoliation or extraction, the risk of an unexpected reaction is very low. That said, if it is your first facial with us and the occasion is important, booking a trial session a few weeks ahead is still the sensible approach.
Pricing
The Oxytouch Facial is priced per session, with course pricing available for regular maintenance. We confirm current pricing when you book — call 04 268 8226. As a cosmetic treatment, it is not covered by insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an oxygen facial?
A treatment in which pressurised oxygen is used to deliver a hydrating serum across the skin surface. The result is immediate hydration, plumping and glow. It is a comfort and maintenance treatment rather than a corrective one, and it involves no acid, abrasion or extraction.
Does an oxygen facial really oxygenate the skin?
Not in the way the phrase suggests, and we would rather say so. Your skin receives its oxygen from your bloodstream. The oxygen here is the delivery method for the serum, and the visible benefit comes from the hydration rather than from oxygen reaching the cells. It is still a genuinely effective hydration and glow treatment — just not for the reason it is often marketed.
Is there any downtime?
None. You can apply makeup straight away and go directly to an event. This is one of the main reasons patients choose it.
Is it painful?
No. Most patients describe it as a cool, pleasant breeze across the skin. It is the most comfortable treatment we offer.
How long do the results last?
The glow and hydration typically hold for several days, sometimes longer with a good home routine. Because the effect is hydration-led, it is best maintained with regular sessions rather than treated as a one-off fix.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin or rosacea?
It is usually one of the better choices for reactive skin, since there is no acid or abrasion involved. Do tell us about your sensitivity or rosacea at assessment so we can select the serum accordingly and confirm it is appropriate for you.
Can I have it during pregnancy?
Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This facial can usually be adapted by adjusting the serum, and we will confirm what is suitable at your assessment.
Will it help my acne?
It is not an acne treatment. It can leave acne-prone skin feeling comfortable and hydrated, but active acne needs medical assessment and a proper treatment plan. Book a dermatology consultation if that is your main concern.
Which is better, the Oxytouch or the Signature Facial?
Neither is better — they do different jobs. Choose Oxytouch for hydration, glow and sensitive skin, and the Signature Facial for congestion, blackheads and exfoliation. Many patients alternate between the two.
How soon before an event should I book?
One to three days beforehand works well, since there is no exfoliation or extraction and therefore very little risk of a reaction. If it is your first facial with us and the occasion matters, a trial session a few weeks ahead is still wise.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Evening appointments fill quickly, so please book ahead on 04 268 8226.
